Music Production

The most challenging part of making music was learning music theory. As a child I learned the basics of piano but never paid much attention to chords, harmonization, and rhythm. Making music from scratch can definitely be challenging as it is hard to come up a fully original piece of music. I listened to many artists for inspiration and made many pieces of music that I was not satisfied with. For my song sea breezin, I looked towards a particular song called Sea Sick by binki and drew inspiration from its upbeat rhythm and good vibes. I spent many days analyzing the song, breaking it down into little sections to examine how it achieved its upbeat tune and rhythm. I tested many different programs and concluded that BandLab was the best fit me because BandLab does a great job simplifying its music making program to be very user-friendly for new users.
